About us

This is a free, independent site. It helps bowlers score a game, find a league handicap, work out an average and print score sheets. It is run by a small team of bowling fans and web developers.

How we check the math

All scoring follows Rule 2 of the USBC Playing Rules. Handicap follows Rule 100d, and averages follow Rule 108a. Our code runs a test suite before each release. It checks a perfect 300 game, a 190 game of all 9 spares, a gutter game of 0, a 167 mixed game and more. It also checks that impossible rolls are blocked.

We do not invent numbers. Every rule on this site links to its source.

Independence

We are not linked to the United States Bowling Congress or any bowling center or brand. Your league rules always come first.
